Progressive causes are not worth supporting. If every progressive cause has been co-opted by anti-Israel activists it just shows how unserious they are about their stated cause. Palestinians aren’t part of the US nor does their cause have a thing to do with the US - not race, not poverty, not equality, not the environment. The Hamas are a totalitarian Islamist far right terrorist group, and of the far left supports them this vehemently then I don’t believe the far left stand for anything other than anti-Jewish racism.

I do think the causes can be worth supporting even when the organizations are not. For example, abortion rights are a central moral and political concern for many Jewish women. But when leaders of abortion rights funds express hatred against Israel, Zionists, and Jews, we don't want to support those funds. Who suffers? The women who need abortions. This is why Alison Korman left the DC Abortion Fund and founded her own fund, the Red Tent fund, a pro-Jewish abortion fund that we can feel good about donating to while knowing that the money goes where it's needed most.

I absolutely will not send money or any other assistance to provide a platform for genocide supporting Hamas lovers to attack Israel and Jews under whatever guise, in their capacity as the staff of a progressive organization allegedly dealing with something that has ZERO to do with "Palestine". Fuck that, fuck them. If their organization can't uphold a code of conduct and keep their staff on message, then that organization cannot expect my support.

I don't care if the Nazis were also great environmentalists, and I don't care if some antisemitic genocide lovers also care about climate action.
